Bauhaus, Morrissey, Echo & the Bunnymen to play Cruel World Festival

Cruel World Festival

A who’s-who of goth, post-punk and new wave will be playing the inaugural Cruel World festival in Los Angeles this spring. The festival takes place at Dignity Health Sports Park on May 2. The festival’s being headlined by Morrissey and Bauhaus, and also features Blondie, Devo, The Violent Femmes, The Church, Psychedelic Furs, Echo & the Bunnymen, English Beat, Public Image Limited, Gary Numan, Marc Almond, Berlin, Missing Persons and Jay Aston’s Gene Loves Jezebel. Plus a number of bands influenced by those bands will be playing as well, including Cold Cave, Tr/st, Blaqkaudio, Drab Majesty, Sextile and Black Marble.
