Death Cab for Cutie share new dance-rock track “An Arrow in the Wall”

It’s seems fitting that, ahead of Death Cab for Cutie‘s co-headlining 20th anniversary Transatlanticism/Give Up anniversary tour with The Postal Service, they should end up releasing a dance track of their own. Today, the group share a new single, “An Arrow in the Wall,” which is an icy, dancefloor-ready groove somewhere between Spoon and The Rapture at their peak, with more than a little house influence. They’ve also released a Chvrches remix of the song as well. Hear them both below, and take a look at their upcoming tour dates.

Death Cab for Cutie’s last album was last year’s Asphalt Meadows. Both Transatlanticism and Give Up are featured on our list of the 50 Best Albums of 2003.
