Fiona Apple announces tour with Blake Mills
Fiona Apple had both a great and terrible 2012, releasing the critically acclaimed The Idler Wheel… and playing a series of sold out shows, yet also enduring the loss of her beloved dog and getting arrested for marijuana possession. It was a bit of a roller coaster, but Apple is back on positive ground in 2013, with a collaborative tour on the horizon with her recent tour bandmate Blake Mills.
The two musicians will each be playing music from their respective catalogs, as well as perform collaboratively on new, unreleased material. The artists released a statement about the tour that says, “We know it’ll be something special, and we aren’t being coy here — it’s just that we have about 26% of an idea of what the fuck we will be playing for you… the uncertainty excites us.” Check out the dates below.
