Hear a new psychedelic funk song from The Budos Band, “Crescent Blade”

Last month, funk outfit The Budos Band announced a new EP, Frontier’s Edge, due July 28 via Diamond West. After releasing the title track, they have another new song to share, “Crescent Blade,” which is an organ- and horn-heavy slice of psychedelic funk with an animated visualizer of its mystical cover artwork to go with it. The group said in a statement, “‘Crescent Blade’ is a jagged exploration over an exotic landscape, traversing both rugged rhythmic cliffs and sweeping mellifluous vistas.”
