Hear a new song from Be Your Own Pet, “Goodtime!”

Be Your Own Pet recently announced their first new album in over a decade, Mommy, which is out August 25 via Third Man. After releasing a pair of earlier singles, “Worship the Whip” and “Hand Grenade,” they’ve got another peppy new punk rocker to share, “Goodtime!” Check it out below, along with their upcoming tour dates.

“The older you get, the more responsibility and compromise, the more people that depend on you—but there’s always a little bit of missing the freedom from when you’re younger,” said vocalist Jemina Pearl Abegg in a statement.

Jonas Stein added, “You can be nurturing an adult life with your family but still looking over your shoulder like, ‘God, I wanna be partying.’”
