Hear a new song from Inter Arma, “Desolation’s Harp”
Inter Arma have released another new single from their upcoming album New Heaven, which is out April 26 via Relapse. Their latest is “Desolation’s Harp,” a concise ripper of a metal song that you can hear below.
Guitarist Trey Dalton said in a statement, “‘Desolation’s Harp’ is basically our take on a straightforward ‘metal’ song, something very riff forward. We wanted to write something that felt like us but compact and edited without sacrificing the nuance or complexity. It has a lot of the hallmarks of us— slow riff over blast beat, discordance, and harmony guitars— but in a more concise final form. I’m stoked on our flirtation with brevity, and we hope you are too.”
Inter Arma’s last album was 2019’s Sulphur English—followed by the covers album, Garbers Days Revisited.
