Hear Car Seat Headrest and The Beths/Pickle Darling cover The Postal Service

Earlier this year, The Postal Service‘s sole album Give Up turned 20, and the group went on tour with Ben Gibbard’s other band, Death Cab for Cutie, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album Transatlanticism. So many anniversaries! As the festivities continue, Car Seat Headrest and The Beths and Pickle Darling have teamed up for a new Sub Pop single featuring covers of songs from the classic collaboration between Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello. Car Seat Headrest tackle “We Look Like Giants” in epic fashion, while The Beths and Pickle Darling team up for a more charming take on “Brand New Colony.” Hear both songs below, which are available as a digital single now. They’ll be released as a 7-inch single in January.
