Jay-Z announces new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail

Last night, during the NBA finals, Jay-Z aired a commercial to advertise the release of a new album titled Magna Carta Holy Grail. The album will be out July 4, and follows 2009’s The Blueprint 3, and 2011’s Watch the Throne, Jay’z collaborative album with Kanye West. The commercial featured cameo appearances by Pharrell, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, and Rick Rubin, which is a fairly good indication they’ll be on the album.

The album will be released via an app on Samsung Galaxy phones, and the app will be available to download June 24 via Google Play. Watch the commercial below.
