John Cale announces new album, POPtical Illusion

John Cale has announced a new album. On June 14, he’ll release POPtical illusion via Domino/Double Six. Today he’s shared new song “How We See the Light.” Check it out below via its new Pepi Ginsberg–directed music video full of people wearing papier-mâché heads.

POPtical Illusion was co-produced by Cale and his longtime artistic partner Nita Scott in his Los Angeles studio.

John Cale’s last album was 2023’s Mercy.
