Listen: New Pains of Being Pure At Heart, “Simple and Sure”
This week, Brooklyn indie pop group The Pains of Being Pure At Heart announced the details of Days of Abandon, their upcoming follow-up to 2011’s Belong. And today, the band has released the first song available to hear from the album, “Simple and Sure.” It’s a shimmering, jangly rocker with shades of both ’80s and ’90s indie rock. So, in other words, it’s everything you want a Pains of Being Pure At Heart song to be.
Listen to “Simple and Sure” below. Days of Abandon is out April 22 via Yebo Music.
