MSPAINT announce new EP, No Separation
Mississippi synth punks MSPAINT have announced a new EP. On May 23, they’ll release No Separation via Convulse. It features five new songs, and today they’ve shared “Angel.” Hear it below.
“Most of our music is genuinely inspired by our relationships to each other,” MSPAINT’s Nick Panella said in a statement. “We bring together disparate musical philosophies and try to marry them and create our own community that can accept those differences and actually thrive as a result of them. Originality ultimately isn’t about creating something new as much as it’s about navigating your own inner world and the inner world’s of those directly around you until you’ve learned something that hasn’t been learned before.”
No Separation follows the group’s 2023 album Post-American, which was featured on our list of the 50 Best Albums of 2023.
