Photos: Alcest and Mono at The Observatory North Park
France’s heavy shoegazers Alcest recently touched down in San Diego for a performance at the Observatory North Park, performing a set of hazy, emotional and massive anthems from throughout their catalog, with a sizable chunk of the setlist drawn from their most recent album, 2024’s Les chants de l’aurore. Japanese post-rock outfit Mono opened the show, performing epics from their most recent release, OATH. Check out our gallery from the show.
