St. Vincent, Tame Impala with Diana Ross, Phoebe Bridgers on new Minions soundtrack
Decca Records has just announced the lineup for the upcoming Minions: The Rise of Gru soundtrack, and it’s surprisingly stacked with talent. The album, which is out July 1, is produced and curated by Jack Antonoff, and to fit the vibe of the movie, which is set in the 1970s, it features contemporary artists covering hits from the era, as well as a new original song from Tame Impala and Diana Ross. Among the artists featured on the album are St. Vincent, Phoebe Bridgers, Thundercat, Weyes Blood, Gary Clark Jr., Tierra Whack, Kali Uchis, Brittany Howard and more.
