Sub Pop turns 30 this year, and as part of its anniversary celebration, the Seattle-based label is throwing a two-day festival with a bunch of its bands. On Saturday, August 11, Sub Pop’s all-day 30th Anniversary Festival takes place at Alki Beach, featuring Beach House—who just released their excellent new album 7—as well as Shabazz Palaces, Mudhoney, Clipping., Wolf Parade, Metz, Moaning, Kyle Craft, Loma, Fastbacks, LVL UP, Jo Passed and more.

Also on the 11th, Pissed Jeans will be playing the “Pissed Jeans 15th Anniversary Party” at the Crocodile. On Friday, August 10, the festivities will kick off with a Concert at the Mural at Seattle Center, featuring Afghan Whigs, Mass Gothic and Yuno. And that same night, Sub Pop is also holding a special comedy showcase featuring the cast of Bob’s Burgers, with H. Jon Benjamin, Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy and John Roberts at The Moore Theater. Proceeds from the comedy show will benefit YouthCare.
