The Cure announce live box set, 40 Live: Curaetion-25+Anniversary

The Cure have announced a new live box set featuring recordings of their 40th anniversary concerts from earlier this year. It’s called 40 Live: Cureation-25+Anniversary, and it’s out October 18 via Eagle Rock. The box contains four live CDs, as well as two concert films which will be available in Blu-ray and DVD editions. The recordings include sets from the Robert Smith-curated Meltdown Festival, in which they performed a song from each of their albums in chronological order, and then a similar set in reverse chronological order. On August 31, The Cure will perform at the Pasadena Daydream Festival, which they curated.
