Vampire Weekend reveal details of new album
Vampire Weekend recently teased the upcoming release of their follow-up to 2010’s Contra, and as of today, the full details of that album have arrived. The new album is titled Modern Vampires of the City, and in a highly unorthodox move, the band made the release date announcement via the New York Times classifieds page, which you can see above. The album is out May 7 in the United States via XL, and a day earlier in Europe.
