Arcade Fire announce new album
On Friday, Canada’s indie rock heroes Arcade Fire made one fan’s year by announcing their new album’s release date in response to a tweet, which simply said, “You’re my favorite.” The band’s follow-up to 2010’s The Suburbs, which as of yet does not have a title, will be out Oct. 29. The album was recorded in James Murphy’s DFA Studios, and the announcement was accompanied by the burning Epcot image you see above. Now that’s how you Instagram, folks.
