Be Your Own Pet share new song “Big Trouble”
Be Your Own Pet’s first new album in over a decade, Mommy, is due out August 25 via Third Man. And they’ve already shared a handful of singles, including “Worship the Whip” and “Goodtime!” Today they’ve got another new song to share from the album, “Big Trouble,” which you can check out below, along with their upcoming tour dates.
“I live in a country that has taken away the basic human right to an abortion and then has the audacity to ask ‘why are you so angry?,’” said vocalist Jemina Pearl in a statement. “‘Big Trouble’ is about how the daily injustices are all connected to the overarching societal issues of living in a patriarchy.”
