Big Ups stream new album Eighteen Hours of Static
New York City post-hardcore/noise-rockers Big Ups have a pretty fiery sound that recalls the likes of Moss Icon or The Monorchid. Suffice it to say, the band rocks pretty hard and give minimal fucks. On Jan. 14, the band will release their debut album, Eighteen Hours of Static, via Dead Labor/Tough Love, and its 27 minutes are about as relentless and abrasive as their reputation suggests. But you don’t have to take our word for it if you’d like to hear it for yourself — and you really should hear it for yourself. Check out the Big Ups stream below, via Soundcloud.
