Dirty Beaches - Drifters

Alex Zhang Hungtai, better known as Dirty Beaches, is returning this year with a brand-new follow-up to 2011’s Suicide-by-way-of-David-Lynch debut, Badlands. The new album is a double LP, titled Drifters/Love Is the Devil, and it will be released May 21 via Zoo Music. It has 16 tracks and spans 75 minutes, and via Twitter, Hungtai offered some details about the album:

“I’m leaking 1 track from love is the devil. I’ve never been good at business. But this is my heart & soul. I need to get this off my chest. This title track has blood & tears all over it and is the sound of my empty self. I need to share this before it becomes something else. we always hurt the ones we love the most. I’m a rotten piece of shit. blast it LOUD if your hearts broken.”
