Leeds post-punk outfit Drahla are returning with their first new album in five years. On April 5, the group will release angeltape via Captured Tracks. The first new single they’ve shared from the album is “Default Parody,” which you can check out via its new video, directed and produced by the band, below.

“It’s controlled chaos”, said vocalist and guitarist Luciel Brown in a statement, “lots of different ideas that resolve at some strange harmony. It was the first realization of writing something from start to finish with the addition of Ewan on guitar so there’s more freedom of interplay and from our previous roles in the band.”

Drahla’s last album was 2019’s Useless Coordinates. Read our interview with the band.
