Dum Dum Girls announce new album, Too True
January is looking a little more glamorously gothic in 2014. Dum Dum Girls, the San Diego-bred and New York-based band fronted by songwriter Dee Dee Penny, have announced the upcoming release of Too True, the band’s third album and follow-up to 2011’s Only In Dreams. Produced by Richard Gotteher (Blondie, The Go-Go’s, Richard Hell) and The Raveonettes’ Sune Rose Wagner, the album features 10 tracks with intriguing titles like “Cult of Love” and “Evil Blooms.” It’s out Jan. 28 via Sub Pop.
