Ghostface to release ‘Ironman’ box set
Boston label Get On Down has already released deluxe box-set reissues of GZA’s Liquid Swords and Nas’ Illmatic, and the next hip-hop classic on the agenda is Ghostface’s 1996 album Ironman. The Ironman “Premium Collection: Gold Edition” will be limited to 2,000 copies and will feature the remastered album on a 24k “audiophile gold disc” CD housed in a “cherrywood trophy box,” plus a 48-page book and a puzzle. (Not as cool as the GZA chess set but still pretty cool.)
The reissue is expected to be released in late February.
