Goat signs with Sub Pop

Eclectic, Afro-beat loving Swedish psychedelic rock group Goat now has a North American label: Sub Pop. For those who have been following the group since the release of their amazing 2012 album World Music, this is no doubt good news, as it most likely means wider distribution here and (potentially) more tour dates in the United States. Sub Pop previously released the band’s 7-inch single “Dreambuilding” b/w “Stonegoat,” and there’s reason to believe the group will have a new album on the way before long. (A press release uses the phrase “While you await details of Goat’s next record,” which we’ll take as evidence that there are details of a new record to share.)

In the meantime, the band has lined up some tour dates, including Coachella and Bonnaroo, which you can check out below.
