Herbie Hancock, Unwound, Armand Hammer to play Big Ears Festival 2024

Big Ears Festival returns to Knoxville, Tennessee next year. The festival will take place March 21-24 at various venues throughout Knoxville, and today, it’s announced the first round of performers on its lineup.

The 2024 edition of Big Ears will feature jazz legend Herbie Hancock, in addition to legendary Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones and art-pop innovator Laurie Anderson. The lineup also includes Beth Orton, Unwound, Armand Hammer, Shabaka Hutchings, Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Digable Planets, Son Rompe Pera, Rhiannon Giddens, Henry Threadgill, Marc Ribot and Ceramic Dog, Roc Marciano, Charles Lloyd, Christian McBride, Brad Mehldau, Mary Halvorson, Claire Rousay, Colleen, Hurray For the Riff Raff, Jlin, Horse Lords, Joan Shelley, JG Thirlwell and Ensemble, and many more.
