Joni Mitchell announces box set of jazz material, Joni’s Jazz

A Joni Mitchell box set of her explorations into jazz is being released this fall. Joni’s Jazz will be released via Rhino on September 5, featuring a career-spanning selection of Mitchell’s forays into jazz and jazz-influenced music. It’ll be released in 8xLP and 4xCD editions, and features previously unseen photos and original artwork from Mitchell. Among some of the material are her collaborations with jazz legends such as Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius, Herbie Hancock, and Charles Mingus.
