King Krule, Arctic Monkeys, Sons of Kemet nominated for 2018 Mercury Prize
The nominees for the 2018 Mercury Prize, which honors the best British album of the year, have been announced. This year’s nominees include King Krule, Arctic Monkeys, Lily Allen and jazz ensemble Sons of Kemet. The awards ceremony will take place on September 20 at London’s Eventim Apollo, and the winner is determined by a panel of critics and people in the music industry. Past winners include PJ Harvey, Portishead, Suede, Pulp, The xx and Young Fathers.
