Nothing have announced a new album. On Feb. 27, the Philadelphia shoegazers will release A Short History of Decay via Run for Cover. The album features a new lineup for the band, with founder and frontman Domenic Palermo joined by guitarist Doyle Martin (Cloakroom), bassist Bobb Bruno (Best Coast), drummer Zachary Jones (MSC, Manslaughter 777), and guitarist Cam Smith (Ladder To God, Cloakroom). Today they’ve shared a new single, “Cannibal World,” which you can check out below.

The band is also touring in 2026, bringing their Slide Away festival—featuring Hum, Chapterhouse and Swirlies as well as Cloakroom, Ovlov, Mint Field and lovesliescrushing—to Brooklyn, Chicago and Los Angeles. See those dates below and find tickets here.

Nothing’s last album was 2020’s The Great Dismal.
