The Church announce new album The Hypnogogue, 2023 tour

After releasing their new song “The Hypnogogue” earlier this year, Australian post-punk/psych legends The Church have announced the details of their new album. The Hypnogogue will be released on February 24 via Communicating Vessels. They’ve also announced a 2023 tour. Check out those dates below along with the album’s artwork and tracklist.

“The Hypnogogue is the most prog rock thing we have ever done and also we’ve never had a concept album before,” vocalist Steve Kilbey said in a press release. “It is the most ‘teamwork record’ we have ever had. Everyone in the band is so justifiably proud of this record and everyone helped to make sure it was as good as it could be. Personally, I think it’s in our top three records.”
