The Bug – “Function/Void”
There are lots of intriguing, futuristic sounds on the new album by The Bug, Angels and Devils. So it’s only fitting that the latest video from the album, for grime banger “Function/Void” features some suitably dystopian imagery. Directed by Factory Fifteen, the clip is basically a short black and white art film, which begins with a protagonist lost in a humdrum lifestyle as an office drone — a la Fight Club — but soon enough finds the world around him literally crumbling. It’s a powerful series of images, and quite elegant in its execution. It’s well worth a few minutes of your time. Watch The Bug’s “Function/Void” clip below.
