Listen to new The-Dream song, “Fruition”

Terius Nash, aka The-Dream, has kept a relatively low profile of late, after having released last year’s IV Play, as well as the Reality: The Prequel EP from earlier this year, and “Black,” his anti-racism and -classism anthem. But Nash is apparently still working on some new material. He’s got a new song called “Fruition,” which was released to radio last week, and has now surfaced online via Soundcloud.
Nash tweeted about the new track on Dec. 13:
The new jam is soulful and ethereal in a way that The-Dream’s tracks usually are, with some nice touches of organ and horns. But it’s also more vintage sounding than we’d typically expect from Nash, which is an interesting touch. In any case, after last year’s underwhelming release, this signals some great things for the R&B producer and singer.
