Listen: Torche stream new album, Restarter
This week, Treble’s Album of the Week is the burly, sludgy and altogether ass-kicking new album by Torche, Restarter. It’s the band’s first for Relapse Records, and it’s their most unambiguously metal album in some time, though their penchant for pop hooks are certainly still part of the equation. Anyhow, you probably already figured out that we like this album a lot. It’s being released next week, but you can actually hear the full album right now — one week before its official release.
The band has been premiering songs for the last month, which have included the upbeat, hard rocking “Bishop in Arms” and the psychedelically sludgy “Minions,” but every song is now unlocked, and you can listen to the entire Torche Restarter stream via Noisey.
Listen to the entire album here, and rock the eff out.
