Passion Pit announce new album, Kindred, new song “Where the Sky Hangs”

Passion Pit is returning in 2015. The band has been slowly rolling out the details of their new album Kindred (that’s the album’s artwork above), which follows 2012’s Gossamer. The album is being released on April 21 via Columbia, and yesterday they revealed the new track “Lifted Up (1985).” When they released the album’s details, they also announced that another new song, “Where the Sky Hangs,” would be available for download once the iTunes pre-order for the album went up. Well, they held up their end of the bargain. The pre-order is up, and now you can hear that new song.
Stream it below, and check out the album’s tracklist.

Jeff Terich is the founder and editor of Treble. He's been writing about music for 20 years and has been published at American Songwriter, Bandcamp Daily, Reverb, Spin, Stereogum, uDiscoverMusic, VinylMePlease and some others that he's forgetting right now. He's still not tired of it.
Can’t decide if I like this single or their other one, Lifted Up (1985), more. Can’t wait for their album Kindred to drop though, just pre-ordered it on iTunes today. April 21st needs to be here now.
