Death From Above 1979 cancel tour dates
There’s some unfortunate news for fans of Death From Above 1979 in the southeast region of the United States. The Canadian dancepunk duo have been forced to cancel a series of upcoming tour dates in support of their newest album, The Physical World. The cancellations include their upcoming date at Third Man Records, where they were scheduled to do a direct-to-acetate recording of their live performance. The culprit seems to be visa issues. In a tweet, the band says, “Due to some super unsexy bureaucratic immigration/visa issues, we’ve had to postpone/cancel 4 shows this month.” Bummer. More details about the cancellations are in the image below, which accompanied the original tweet.
Canceled Death from Above 1979 tour dates:
7/16 Nashville, TN – Third Man Records
7/17 Norfolk, VA – NorVA Theatre
7/18 Richmond, VA – The National
7/20 Washington, D.C. – Rock ‘n’ Roll Hotel Theatre
