More SXSW 2016 bands announced
Last month, SXSW announced its first wave of acts performing at its 2016 music festival, including Crystal Castles, Barry Adamson, PUP, Pure Bathing Culture. Today, the festival has announced even more bands, including Mercury Rev, Tommy Stinson, Autre Ne Veut, Petite Noir, Cullen Omori, Blanck Mass, Diarrhea Planet, Bleached, White Lung, Worriers, California X, Self Defense Family, Diet Cig, Greys, Gwenno, PWR BTTM and many others.
Take a look at the updated list of SXSW 2016 bands here. SXSW takes place on March 15-20 in various venues throughout Austin, Texas. There’s also an updated list of sessions taking place during the festival, including panels on live music venues, starting a label in the digital age, royalties and copyrights, the role of women in music media, and one called “The Recording Industry Hates Grownups,” which features noted NPR grownup Bob Boilen.
