Boston Calling announces daily lineups for spring festival
Boston Calling takes place again on May 26-28, with an impressive lineup that spans from the life-affirming hip-hop of Chance the Rapper to the ethereal indie pop of The xx, and from the dancehall EDM of Major Lazer to the epic metal of Tool. Today the festival has announced its daily lineups, and for those planning on attending, it should help you determine how each day is going to go.
Friday, for instance, has the overwhelmingly indie lineup, with Bon Iver, Mac DeMarco, Sylvan Esso and Car Seat Headrest, as well as some soul from Solange and hip-hop from Chance the Rapper. Saturday is a bit more heavy on pop, with Mumford & Sons at the top of a lineup that also includes Nathaniel Rateliff, The 1975, Majid Jordan and Tegan and Sara. And Sunday is the day to hear all the loud guitars, with Converge, Tool, PUP and Weezer performing (as well as Mitski and Run the Jewels).
