Black Sabbath announce final show, with Metallica, Slayer

Black Sabbath are playing one more show before closing out their legacy. The heavy metal legends have announced what will be their final live show, taking place on July 5 in Villa Park in Birmingham, where the band was originally formed. The show will feature live sets from both Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne, as well as a list of other legendary metal bands, including Metallica, Slayer and Pantera, as well as Gojira, Mastodon, Lamb of God, Halestorm, Alice in Chains and Anthrax. Check out the full lineup—including other special guests like Sammy Hagar, Tom Morello, and Judas Priest’s KK Downing—on the poster above.
“It’s my time to go Back To The Beginning… time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” Ozzy said in a statement. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love? Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”
All profits will go to charities Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice – a Children’s Hospice supported by Aston Villa. Tickets go on sale Feb. 14. Find them here.
