Hear a new song from envy, “Whiteout”

Back in July, Japanese post-hardcore icons envy announced the details of their upcoming album, Eunoia, which is due out October 11 via  Temporary Residence/Pelagic. Today they’ve shared another new song from the album, the intense “Whiteout,” which you can hear below.

The group’s Nobukata Kawai said in a statement, “The concept of creating the album was to honestly face our own powerlessness. Searching for a little hope, and record the emotions gained from daily life in a diary-like manner. Even without explaining the songs, Tetsu’s lyrics were wonderful and added depth to the piece. It has been 6 years since the member line-up changed, and the good relationship of trust has been strongly reflected in the work.”
