Hear a new song from Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, “Long Dark Night”
On August 30, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds will release their new album, Wild God, their first since the release of 2019’s Ghosteen. And following the release of two previous singles, “Frogs” and the Essential Track, “Wild God,” today they share “Long Dark Night.” Hear it below.
Cave said in a statement about the song, “’Long Dark Night’ is inspired by one of the greatest and most powerful poems of conversion ever written. Ultimately, though, it’s a beautiful country tune. It feels like a sweet companion to the song, ‘Wild God’.”
In 2021, Nick Cave and Warren Ellis released Carnage. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ Let Love In is featured on our list of 91 Essential Alternative Albums of the ’90s.
