Hear Boris and Uniform’s ominous new song, “Not Surprised”
On June 16, Uniform and Boris release their first collaborative album, Bright New Disease, via Sacred Bones. They recently shared the first single, the excellent “You Are the Beginning,” and now today they’ve delivered another new song, “Not Surprised.” It’s a more ominously droning piece, with Michael Berdan’s screams juxtaposed against Boris’ low-end guitar rumble. “It sounds like the crystalized essence of both bands at the heights of their creative abilities,” Berdan said in a statement. “It is a testament of friendship and hope in the face of a world on fire.”
