Satanic Planet, featuring current and former members of Slayer and The Locust, announce debut album
Satanic Planet is a new collaborative effort that brings together Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Mr. Bungle), Justin Pearson (The Locust, Dead Cross) and Luke Henshaw (Planet B, Sonido de la Frontera) with The Satanic Temple co-founder and spokesperson Lucien Greaves. On May 28, the project will release its self-titled album via Three One G, with a set of tracks that “embraces the avant garde to create sci-fi sermons that range from doom and industrial to evil exotica,” according to a press release.
The first track that’s been released from the new collab is titled “Baphomet,” and you can check its video below, which was edited by Displaced/Replaced and directed by Luke Henshaw with cinematography by Becky DiGiglio, along with the album’s tracklist.
