Stream new Castevet track, “The Curve”
On Oct. 15, Castevet will release Obsian, the New York post-black metal band’s follow-up to 2010’s Mounds of Ash. We’ve already heard one track from it, the complex, prog-leaning “As Fathomed by Beggars and Victims,” and today Stereogum has premiered another track from the album, titled “The Curve.” This one’s a little less rhythmically dizzying, but definitely has some powerful riffs, cool textures and a melodic sensibility that has been one of the band’s best qualities since the beginning.
