Stream “Mene” by Brand New
Long Island post-hardcore/emo mainstays Brand New are back at it, after a pretty long gap of silence. After recently dishing out new material at a live set (and performing at Coachella this weekend), the band has launched a new website, brandnewrock.com, where you can stream a video of the new track (and download it too, if you sign up for their good ol’ MailKimp).
The song itself is quick and dirty, following suit behind 2006’s The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me and 2009’s Daisy. This development does not come with any firm word on a new album but, if the band’s history is any indication, a new URL is probably safe foreshadowing for a new LP.
