Stream the new clipping. album, CLPPNG
Los Angeles’ noisiest hip-hop duo clipping. first got our attention last year with their midcity record, which landed on our Top 10 Hip-Hop Albums of 2013. Next week, the group release their follow-up to that record, CLPPNG, via Sub Pop. It’s a suitably cacophonous album, full of extra-intense verses and booming production, as well as some guest raps by prominent emcees like King Tee and Gangsta Boo. And if you just can’t wait until June 10 to hear this beat-laden madness, then you’re in luck. The full album is now available to hear via NPR First Listen.
