Torche – “Annihilation Affair”

Torche have just debuted the new video for “Annihilation Affair,” from new album Restarter, via Loudwire. The clip, directed by Phil Mucci (who has also directed clips for Relapse labelmates High on Fire and Pig Destroyer), is an animated sci-fi epic featuring some evil A.I. villains that have taken over the planet through violent and destructive means. There’s lots of really ominous, Terminator-like stuff happening, as well as Illuminati imagery, and a kind of fateful scene featuring what looks like, maybe, the last human on earth. We don’t want to give too much away, but we’ll just say this — the future of mankind doesn’t look good, people. It doesn’t look good at all.
