Sunn O))) announce new self-titled album

Sunn O))) have announced a new album. On April 3, the drone-doom duo will release their self-titled LP via Sub Pop. The album was co-produced and mixed by the band and Brad Wood (Hum, Sunny Day Real Estate), and the first track they’ve shared is its closer, “Glory Black.” Hear it below. Sunn O))) are also going on tour in 2026—check out those dates below.

Sunn O)))’s last album was 2019’s Pyroclasts. Their 2014 album with Scott Walker, Soused, is featured on our list of 10 Essential Metal Collaboration Albums.
