Slayer are reuniting for a pair of festival performances. The thrash metal legends split up after playing their final shows in 2019, and now five years later, they’ve announced a performance at Riot Fest, which takes place September 20-22 in Chicago, Illinois. Then, a week later, they’ll be performing at Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky.
It’s a bit of a surprise to hear, considering Kerry King recently told Rolling Stone that he didn’t expect the band to reunite, but here we are.
