Video: Valleys – “Undream A Year”

This video comes from across the northern border, where apparently they love the “Drive” soundtrack too. “Undream A Year” is a single off the Montreal duo’s upcoming second album Are You Going to Stand There and Talk Weird All Night? out April 29 via Kanine Records. The electropop track is dark and dirty, electrosludge really, broken up by synth shimmers and a surprisingly catchy chorus. Meanwhile the video portrays Matilda Perks waking and wandering through the night, encountering older versions of herself stuck in motion—presumably in situations that occurred within the last year, which she is clearly undreaming.
