Disclosure announce new album, Caracal
Last month, UK dance duo Disclosure released a new track, titled “Holding On,” and now it appears there’s a new album attached to that single. It’s called Caracal, and it’s being released on September 25 via PMR/Island. In addition to Gregory Porter, who appears on “Holding On,” it features collaborations with Nao, Lion Babe, and Kwabs. The group’s Howard Lawrence handles lead vocals on “Jaded.” That’s the album’s artwork above.
Howard Lawrence says of the album in a statement: “A caracal is an incredible wild cat that I became fascinated with while on tour last year; I just love the way they look, their physical capabilities and their anonymity. It felt like a perfect fit for our Wild Life brand too, so the caracal made perfect sense as the lead visual for the new album and over the course of recording, it also felt like a natural title for the new record too.”
Caracal follows 2013’s Settle.
Disclosure’s Settle is one of our Top 100 Albums of the Decade So Far.
